Who we are
Himalaya Therapy Spa is a massage therapy clinic at 54 Grove Road, Eastbourne BN21 4UD, in the Little Chelsea part of Eastbourne. We are the controller of personal information collected through this website.
You can reach us by phone on 07518 468 777, by email at himalayatherapy54@gmail.com, or in person at the clinic. A telephone call or a visit is often the simplest way to talk about a treatment.
Information we collect
If you send a message through the contact form, we collect your first name, last name, email address, subject and message. We email that enquiry to the clinic and send you a confirmation at the address you gave. We use it to reply, help you choose a treatment, and arrange a visit.
If you phone, email or visit us, we use the details you give us for the same purpose. We do not ask you to create an account on this website, and we do not sell personal information.
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how the site is used, such as the pages viewed, the approximate area the visit comes from, the device and browser, and how you arrived. Google Analytics uses a visitor identifier stored on your device. It does not run unless you accept tracking cookies.
Why we use it
- To answer your enquiry and take steps you ask for before a treatment is booked.
- To keep a record of that conversation for as long as we need it to look after your booking or follow-up.
- To understand how the website is used, only where you have agreed to analytics cookies. You can refuse those cookies, and the site still works.
- To keep the staff sign-in area secure. That cookie is only set when a member of staff logs in.
Who we share it with
Enquiry emails are delivered through our email provider so the clinic can read them and reply. If you accept analytics cookies, usage information is processed by Google. Google may process that information outside the United Kingdom under its own safeguards. Google’s privacy information is at policies.google.com/privacy.
We share information with other people only where we have to, for example if the law requires it, or where you ask us to.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we need them to handle your question, booking and any follow-up, and then we delete them. The cookie that remembers your choice lasts about a year. Google Analytics keeps the information it collects according to the retention setting on our Analytics property. The staff session cookie expires after 30 days, or sooner when that person signs out.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, delete it, or limit how we use it, and you can object to uses based on our legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing before you withdrew it.
